  • How do I start accessing reports on my iPhone using the eQube-BI application?

    To start accessing reports on eQube-BI server, you need to set up the eQube-BI application.

    Select the settings application on the iPhone.
    Select eQube-BI.
    All the available eQube-BI server URLs (up to 3) appear. One of these URLs may be set as a default URL and will be used by the application. You can also change the default URL.
    The eQube-BI application administrator provides the eQube-BI server URL.
    Refer to the following image, for more information.



    Run the eQube-BI app.
    The eQube-BI administrator establishes the default user name and password. Enter your login credentials.
    Save password option saves the login credentials. Once the details are provided, there is no need to re-enter the login credentials as long as you don't change the login details.

    Note: After you change the eQube-BI server URL you should restart the iPhone application.

    How do I retrieve frequently accessed reports?

    The Define favorites functionality is designed for retrieving frequently accessed reports from the set of reports.

    Tap the Select Favorites tab.



    The eQube-BI administrator exposes the reports accessible to a particular user.
    Select the appropriate reports. Multiple reports can be selected. These reports are added to the Favorites.
    Tap Done    to view the reports.
    Tap Edit    to remove the reports from the favorites.

    How do I analyze data in a selected report?

    This is how you analyze data in a selected report:

    The recent data/chart/information from eQube-BI server is accessed by selecting one of the report definitions.
    The details of the specified report appear. Multiple charts may appear.



    Select an appropriate metric.



    Note: Each chart in eQube-BI is drillable.
    Drill In   is selected by default. Tap on the specific area on the displayed chart to view the drill in details. Drill in displays the details of the data.
    Tap Drill up .Then tap on the specific area in the displayed chart to view the drill up details. Drill-up displays the summary or aggregated view of data.
    Toggling the Drill-In and Drill-Up control  allows you to change the analysis perspective.
    Tap the email icon  to mail the report.

    How do I group various report definition or metrics?

    The Portal tab helps the administrator group various report definitions/metrics.

    Tap the Portals tab.
    All the accessible portals appear.
    Tap the required portal. Various metrics appear.
    Select the desired metric. (Refer to Working with metrics section to Drill in and Drill up procedure.

    How do I search for reports?

    You can search any ad-hoc reports in eQube-BI server by using the Search tab.

    Tap the Search tab to search an ad-hoc report.



    Enter your search criteria.
    Tap the search button.
    You can view the results of search.
